3D Walkthrough
Let the customer look around the design on their own phone. Two ways — use either or both.
How to get the best result
360° photo — easiest, looks the most real. Render one panorama per room; the customer turns their phone to look around.
- Enscape: Render → Mono Panorama → Export as JPG.
- D5 Render: Render → Panorama → 360° → JPG.
- Twinmotion: Export → Panorama → Equirectangular.
- SketchUp + V-Ray: camera type Spherical, aspect 2:1.
- The photo must be twice as wide as it is tall (e.g. 4096×2048). 4K is plenty — anything larger is resized automatically.
- Panoramas that are close to that shape are trimmed and optimised for you on upload. An ordinary photo can't become a 360° — it is added as a flat view instead.
3D model (.glb) — walk around freely. Best for showing space and layout.
- SketchUp: File → Export → 3D Model → glTF (.glb). If you don't see it, install the free “glTF Export” extension.
- Blender: File → Export → glTF 2.0 (.glb) → tick Compression (Draco).
- 3ds Max: Export → glTF Binary (.glb).
- Keep textures at 1K–2K, not 4K — a phone has far less memory than your PC.
- Aim under 25MB. Over 50MB will struggle on older phones; over 120MB won't be accepted.
- Delete unseen geometry (neighbouring units, site trees) before exporting — it costs speed for nothing.
Both stay on this device only — they are never uploaded to the studio server, and they don't use any AI allowance. Because these files are large, they are not included in your Settings backup; keep the original files on your computer.
Appearance
Choose your viewing comfort — saved to your account, follows you on every device.
The background drifts gently to keep the studio feeling alive. It already pauses itself while you edit a photo, when the app is in the background, and when your battery drops below 20%.
This setting stays on this device — each phone can be set to suit its own battery.

Getting started
- Tap the ＋ button on the Projects screen and enter the project name and customer.
- Everything for that customer — photos, moodboards, floorplans, the work plan and their contact details — lives inside that project.
- Suggested flow: Project Information → Moodboard → Floorplans → Design Editing → Work Schedule → Handover. Update the stage in Project Information as the job moves along.
- Once you have a few projects, use the search box and the sort selector at the top of the Projects screen — sort by recent activity, name, stage, or arrange your own order with the arrows.
Design Editing — room photos with AI
- In a project, open Design Editing and tap ＋ to upload a room photo.
- Optional but powerful: tap Mark area and paint over just the part you want changed (a wall, a sofa). The AI is told to only touch the marked area.
- Tap a Helping word to drop it into the box, or type your own request. The Standard finishes dropdowns add common lighting feels, cabinet laminates and floor materials in the exact words the AI understands.
- Reference photos: add up to 4 pictures of the actual laminate, tile, light fitting or furniture you mean, and set what each shows — the AI copies what it sees far more accurately than any written description.
- Locks: tap the padlock chips for anything the customer has already approved — curtains, flooring, the feature wall — and every AI edit is ordered to leave them untouched.
- Compare: after an edit, tap Compare and drag the handle across the photo to check the result against the original, side by side.
- Client brief: paste the customer's own notes once; the AI turns them into ready-made wording you can tap into any request.
- Be specific: say the colour, material and what must stay the same. Weak: “make it nicer”. Strong: “change the feature wall to sage green matte paint, keep the flooring and furniture unchanged”.
- Not sure how to phrase it? Type roughly, then tap Improve my wording.
- Every result is saved as a version — tap the small thumbnails to go back to any earlier version.
Moodboards
A presentation template: your floorplan in the centre, 8 photo slots around it. Tap any slot to upload a photo, generate one with AI, or delete it. Clear all photos empties the board in one go.
Pick a Style (Modern Luxury, Scandi, Japandi…) and a Template layout (Magazine grid, Soft collage, Hero + strip, Symmetric 3×3, Editorial columns, Palette focus), type what you want — the Helping words cover the common asks like “Do not change floorplan layout”, “Only remove dimensions and lines”, “Propose colours” — then tap Generate AI moodboard.
Tap Save to my moodboards and it joins the gallery underneath. Tap any saved moodboard to view it, edit it again with AI, step back through its versions, download it or delete it — just like Design Editing.
Floorplans
A library per project, organised by category: Empty, Proposed, Main, Electrical, Painting, Plaster Ceiling, Carpentry and more. Upload as many plans as you need. Open any plan to sketch over it (pen, straight line, highlighter, text) or ask AI to edit it — the Helping words cover the usual requests (“Do not change layout”, “Only remove dimensions and lines”, “Keep walls & doors”), and Improve my wording tightens anything you type. AI results are saved as a new plan, never overwriting your original. Note: AI-redrawn plans are for proposals, not exact measurements.
Work Schedule
The Master Note is the real work plan for a site: pick the trade (Hacking, Plumbing, Tiling… or add your own), set its status and dates, and add a short detail line. Reorder the view by date, by what changed recently, or by trade sequence. Coloured dots show status at a glance and overdue work is flagged in red. The Schedule tab in the bottom bar merges the Master Notes of every project into Overdue / Today / This week / Later. Reminders are per work item and off by default: tap the bell on any item to be reminded the day before and the morning it starts — leave it off for work you don't need chasing. Turn notifications on once in Settings, where you can also choose whether new items start with their bell on.
Calendar & Gantt charts are generated straight from the Master Note, A4 landscape and ready to print — 12 weeks across three month-bands, with the customer names and site address pulled from Project Information, the studio logo, and the standard disclaimer and signature block already in the footer.
Each chart type has three permanent slots that can never be deleted: Blank template (empty grid to fill in by hand), Master — fixed (always redrawn from the current Master Note), and Master — editable (the same chart with your pen marks and text kept on top — update the Master Note and your marks stay put). Editing the blank template or saving extra versions creates copies, which can be renamed, downloaded and deleted without ever touching the originals. Every chart has View, Open full size and Download.
Your daily AI allowance
Each account can generate 50 images and 100 texts a day, resetting at midnight Singapore time. Your remaining allowance is shown in the Account tab. If you need more for a busy week, the studio master can raise your limit for your account.
The app picks the cheapest engine that will do a good job, and steps up to a stronger one automatically for detailed work — like the third edit on the same photo, or a request mentioning textures and lighting.
Appearance
Settings → Appearance switches between Light and Dark. Your choice is saved to your account, so it follows you to every device you log in from.
Ambient motion controls the gentle drift of the background: Full, Gentle (slower, less movement) or Still. The app already stops the motion by itself whenever you are editing a photo, viewing a 3D walkthrough, when the app is in the background, or when the battery falls below 20% — so a long editing session costs no more power than a plain page.
Install on your phone
Open the studio in Chrome, tap the ⋮ menu → Install app (or Add to Home screen). It appears with the Jojo Design logo and opens full-screen, like a normal app. On iPhone use Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen.
Installing is also what makes reminders work — notifications need the app on your home screen.
Security & privacy
Your connection to the studio is encrypted (look for the padlock in your browser). Passwords are stored as one-way hashes — nobody, including the studio, can read them. Repeated wrong passwords lock the account for 15 minutes. A new phone or computer can't open your account without approval, and you can remove lost devices in Account.
Your client designs never leave this device. Photos, moodboards and floorplans are stored in this browser only — the studio server keeps accounts, not artwork. You choose what to back up and where it goes.
Backups, storage & the same-browser rule
Your design work — photos, moodboards, floorplans, Master Notes and chart copies — is stored inside this device's browser. Export a backup from Settings every week or two and keep it in Google Drive. Import it on a new phone or tablet to move everything over.
To move or sync your studio to another device or browser, open Settings → Move / sync to another device for the step-by-step guide (WhatsApp, Drive, email or USB all work).
Important: your work lives inside the specific browser you use. If you log in from a different browser on the same phone (e.g. Samsung Internet instead of Chrome), your studio will look empty — the work isn't gone, it's in the other browser. Pick one browser (we recommend Chrome), add it to your home screen, and always use that.
Account, devices & security
Your account works on a limited number of devices (set by the studio master). The first time you log in on a new phone or tablet, a popup asks you to register that device — it uses one of your device slots. You can see and remove your devices in the Account tab; remove a device if you lose the phone or stop using it.
After 8 wrong passwords an account locks for 15 minutes — the login screen counts down so you know exactly when you can try again. Your access has an expiry date, shown in Account; ask the studio master to extend it before it runs out.
